Prayers for Healthcare: May 1, 2017

Lord of all life and health, we ask for Your gifts of healing to be manifested at our hospitals.  Continue to make them centers of healing and miracles for this region, Lord.

Thank You for Huntsville Hospital (881 beds)  Bless David Spillers, CEO,   Philip Bentley, Jr. Chairman of the 9 member volunteer Board and their 5,100 employees and 750 physicians.   Thank You, Father, for all that You have enabled our citizen-owned Huntsville Hospital System to accomplish since it’s beginning in 1895.

Thank You for Crestwood Hospital (180 beds) operating since 1965. Bless Pam Hudson, MD CEO, Mike Gillespie, Chairman of Board and their 950 employees and 540 physicians.

Father, today we lift up those in our community who are in the business of dealing with those in physical crisis, sickness and pain; especially those working in hospital ER departments, our emergency responders and urgent care teams.  Fill all our health care workers with great compassion and skill in order to deliver fast, effective treatment.  Oh Lord, we ask You to bless them with perseverance and joy.  We pray the demands of their professions will do no harm to their families and friendships.   We ask that those who are believers would be so filled by Your Holy Spirit that they bring the blessing of Your peace, protection and power into every situation so that patients will recognize they have been touched by You.
