Prayers for Our City- April 3, 2017 – Arts
You are invited to a time of prayer for Arts Huntsville, Tuesday evening April 4 from 6 – 7 pm. at their office, 700 Monroe St.SW, Suite 2, with Exec. Director Allison Dillon-Jauken and arts members. Come be part of blessing the Arts & Entertainment Mountain of our city and pray a covering over this year’s Panoply Festival.
Lord, we are so pleased that our Executive Director of Arts Huntsville gives You thanks and credit for the growth of their organization which is now the largest arts engagement, advocacy and service organization in North Alabama. We bless and ask Your guidance for Arts Huntsville’s Board, led by President Jim Link. We bless the leaders and workers for all Arts Huntsville endeavors!
We pray grace, peace, and energy for this year’s Panoply Leadership Team, directed by Lisa Bollinger, Events Manager and the 100 – 150 committee chairmen who plan, organize and recruit the 1,000+ shift volunteers that are needed. Thank You for this army of volunteers, Lord! May Your people be willing servants who recognize divine appointments to shine for You! May Your protection cover every aspect of Panoply, April 29-30. Bless us with good weather!
Thank You for this festival in our city that celebrates Your gifts of music, dance, theatre, and the visual arts with an emphasis on children and arts education. May our little ones be inspired to explore the talents You have given them. We pray for parents and teachers to guide them in these giftings and direct them to use them to speak Your love and light to our city and the world; even to the dark and broken places. It’s a special calling, and we ask that You give Church leadership the discernment to recognize it and help prepare and launch these gifted ones. Use them to infiltrate every “mountain of culture” in our city bringing Kingdom illumination through their talents.
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matt. 5:16
