Prayers for Our City: August 14, 2017 – Family
Father God, we unite our prayers to bless the Kids to Love Foundation which has been able to reach out and meet needs of over 200,000 foster children in our region since its incorporation in 2004. Pour out Your love and grace in even greater measure on Lee Marshall, founder and CEO, who is a former foster and adoptive child herself. From her weekly featured foster child segment on the news, 300 children have found forever families and the number of children in foster care has decreased 30% statewide. Continue to increase this team and provide the resources and
creative ideas to meet the needs of these precious kids.

Thank You for the educational programs made available to our foster kids through the Kids to Love team: backpacks filled with school supplies, college scholarships awarded to high school grads, manufacturing training and independent living skills for older youth in and transitioning out of foster care.
We pray Your blessings and provision for the Davidson Farms home that can provide a place of refuge for up to 10 young tween and teenage girls that otherwise might end up on the streets when no foster homes are available. May every girls that comes here discover Your love and her true identity in Your loving family.
We pray a fresh filling of Your unconditional love for Michael and Suzanne Katschke, the amazing couple who has taken on the call as house parents for Davidson Farms. Prepare them to meet the challenges ahead so that every girl can move toward hope, healing, restoration and the glory of God’s grace.
“Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans….” James 1:27
