Prayers for Our City: May 6, 2019 – Education
“The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.” Luke 6:40 NIV
Father God, we are so thankful for our school teachers and ask that You stir up parents, students and the community as a whole this week to show them how much they are appreciated for all they do.
We bless our teachers who give their hearts to teaching. Thank You for the special gift that You have given them. We pray Your Spirit of peace, grace, and compassion will fill them and overflow to their students. May they have strength and endurance to perform their many tasks.
We pray over the atmosphere at our schools and ask that students be filled with respect and gratitude for their teachers. Jesus, send Your words of love and encouragement to all the teachers of Huntsville/Madison County.
