Prayers for Our City: October 16, 2017 – Business
“But remember the Lord your God,
For it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth.”
Deuteronomy 8:18
We want to express thanks this week for the many ways you are blessing the economy of Huntsville/Madison County. Because of this, various national publications name Huntsville a premier location for both business and quality of life. We continually thank You for those in our region who choose to base business practices in righteousness. We pray that you will protect and prosper those who pursue their business as mission for Your Kingdom. Increase the number of righteous managers and executives and pour out creativity on Godly entrepreneurs. May the Gospel message spread in the marketplace!
Thank You for the recent news that Aerojet Rocketdyne plans to relocate its headquarters to Cummings Research Park and build a 135,000 square manufacturing facility in the same park as Toyota in North Huntsville Industrial Park, providing at least 700 new jobs. Lord, let this bring a much needed boost to economic development in an area of our city that has seen little change in decades.
We cover this area of northwest Huntsville and we bless District One Councilman, Devyn Keith, and his vision to build up the Pulaski Pike corridor. We pray for momentum and Your choice for the private development of the 44-acre Johnson campus that can be developed into a mixed-use facility with new housing. Thank You for the boost of energy that our new Mae Jemison High School has brought to the Pulaski corridor. We ask for Your grace and peace to bring hope, to shift the culture and lower the crime rate, to bring restoration and revival in Jesus Name!
“They will rebuild…and restore…they will renew…” Isaiah 61:4
